Inspired by classical ink wash paintings and hanging scrolls of Bodhidharma,

I wanted to capture that feeling of dynamic, flowing brush strokes in a daruma design while still keeping its essence intact. To achieve this, I avoided unnecessary colors as much as possible and created a classical look by using only black ink on a white daruma. There is no room for revisions in this method so no two designs come out exactly the same, making each one a truly unique, one-of-a-kind item.
